Every week we bring you a neighborhood hidden gem that represents a unique, beautiful, and possibly little-known side of San Francisco.
What is it: Potrero Hill Community Garden
Where is it: 20th And San Bruno San Francisco, CA 94107 ( Potrero Hill Neighborhood)
What makes it special: The Potrero Hill Community Garden has been established since the 1970’s, and is open to the public. While there are no dogs allowed inside, the chickens are abundant. If you’re not currently a member of another community garden, any San Francisco resident can be a member of Potrero Hill. On a clear day, the Garden offers a panoramic view of the Mission, Twin Peaks, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Potrero Hill Community Garden was mentioned in SFist as one of the 12 Best Urban Gardens of 2015.
